Theta Alpha
hosts "Theta Alpha Days" each spring which is an event that is held to
raise money (tournament, raffle, etc.). All proceeds go directly to Desire Street Ministries
in New Orleans.
Desire Street
Ministries exists to transform pockets of poverty in New Orleans and
beyond through high-impact programs focused on spiritual and community
development. Desire Street Ministries and their facilities took a very
hard hit from Hurricane Katrina but they seem to be overcoming this
setback quickly and without deterrence.
