Spring rush is in full swing! Please join us in prayer as our chapters have begun to welcome new sisters into our ministry!

Our Zeta chapter held bid day yesterday, our Delta chapter begins rush tomorrow, and our Beta chapter begins rush on February 2nd.

We are beyond grateful for our active sisters and all that they’ve poured into this rush season. For a more detailed update on each chapter please check their respective Instagram pages!💛

We are thankful for members like Betsy and all of our sisters - you all are a testament on your college campuses to Christ's love for us!

"I rushed Theta Alpha because I wanted to be part of a group of women at UNC Chapel Hill that put Christ above all else. I’ve found ministries and social groups on campus, but there is nothing like the sisterhood, love, and faith that Theta Alpha has provided me. I couldn’t be more grateful that God placed this opportunity in front of me!"

This sisterhood allows me to grow in my walk with the Lord as I am able to surround myself with young women who exemplify Christ in their actions and push me everyday to do the same!”

Nominations are underway for this year’s National Board open positions! Alumnae may nominate a fellow alumna for an open position by logging into their www.thetaalpha.org website account and locating the nominations blog post, which contains all the nominations link and instructions.

Nominations are due at 11:59pm on May 18, 2024.

The National Board oversees the local chapters and alumnae body of Theta Alpha and the ministry’s goals.

This past month, between our three chapters, over 50 young women were initiated into Theta Alpha! The Lord has been so faithful in continuing to grow this ministry. The National Board is seeking twenty-two active and alumnae sisters who may be interested in serving as a mentor to our sisters at our newly established chapter at UNC. We hope for sisters who might be able to pour in and disciple these sisters throughout the remainder of the spring semester so that it might inspire and share the future discipleship relationships they encounter as Theta Alpha sisters.

To be a new sister mentor, you should have the bandwidth to spend time in fellowship and the Word with their assigned new chapter sisters at least once a week during the Spring semester (around 30 minutes over phone call, FaceTime, Zoom, etc. each week), and check in twice a month throughout the summer. If you have been prayerfully considering how to support this new chapter and would like to pour into these women on an individual basis, this is the perfect position for you. We couldn’t be happier to announce that we have officially inducted 22 founding members from the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill. God has been so faithful in the establishment of this new chapter. We are beyond thankful for all of the love, prayer, and support we’ve received from active and alumni sisters. This wouldn’t have been possible without you!

Please continue to join us in prayer as our newly inducted sisters go through their ruby period. We have no doubts that God will continue to use this ministry and these women in the most incredible ways, brining glory to Him in all they do.
