NATIONAL BOARD NOMINATIONS ARE NOW OPEN! - 2026

Hello Alumnae!

We have reached that time of year when we are ready for elections!  As we enter this election season, we ask that you join us in prayerfully considering sisters for an opportunity to serve our sisterhood on the National Board. We will begin with nominations for the open positions! The nomination form can be found here:

Read on for more information about nominations and the open positions:

What are nominations?

The first stage of the National Board election process is nominations. At this time, alumnae from any chapter may nominate fellow alumnae to run for the positions open on the National Board to continue to give back to our active sisters and alumnae. The National Board oversees all aspects of Theta Alpha - ministry goals, local chapter support, and the alumnae body. Officers on the National Board are elected on a rotating schedule to fulfill its mission.

When does the nominations process start and close?

Nominations open on May 10 once posted to thetaalpha.org and close on May 17 at 11:59pm. Alumnae may nominate as many sisters to each position as they feel called to nominate.

What do I do if I’m nominated?

If you are nominated for one of these positions, we would love for you to prayerfully consider this commitment. We also encourage you to reach out to a current National Board member to discuss your nomination! If you feel called to serve, nomination acceptances and platforms will be due 11:59pm, May 24, 2026, to the National Alumnae Chairwoman. Elected sisters will begin their positions on September 1st. All elected officers will be invited to participate in our in-person Summit Weekend with the local chapter officers July 31 - August 1 for leadership training and discipleship.

Who do I reach out to if I have any questions?

Please email our current NAC, Adrienne Martin, at alumnaechairwoman@thetaalpha.org!
