Rush Theme:
We are excited to announce our Fall 2023 Rush theme is "Bloom with Theta Alpha". We cannot wait to meet all the girls God has called to Theta Alpha this semester!

A message from Beta's President:
Hey! My name is Merritt Reece and I have been blessed with the opportunity to serve as Beta chapter’s president for the 2023-2024 term. I’ve been in Theta Alpha since the Fall of 2020, and my life has been forever changed. Theta Alpha was truly an answer to my prayers because it allowed me to build community with other like-minded Christian women like never before. The way God works is incredible and I’m thankful I get to give back to the community that poured so much into me.
If you’re wondering a little bit about me, I’m a senior at the University of Florida and a pre-med student pursuing a degree in Nutritional Sciences. I grew up in Panama City Beach, FL and I enjoy going to the beach, reading, and hanging out in cute coffee shops.
I’m very excited for the upcoming semester, and I’m expectant for the ways God will work through Theta Alpha. I pray that our actions, words, and outreach reflect Christ and that our continued service to Him will be fruitful and pleasing in His sight. I hope to see you in the fall!

A Message From Delta's President:
Hi! My name is Francesca Luca and I have the privilege of serving as Delta’s President this year. To say I’m excited would be an understatement. Theta Alpha has brought me my best friends, built my confidence, and, most importantly, helped strengthen my relationship with God.
Just to tell you a little bit about myself, I’ll be starting my senior year at UCF in the fall and am majoring in psychology. I grew up in South Florida so have always loved the beach! Living in Orlando these past few years has given me the opportunity to visit the Disney parks a lot. I’m sure it’s an unpopular opinion, but Animal Kingdom is my favorite!
Looking ahead, I’m praying that in this next year we continue to fill Theta Alpha with God’s love, peace, and excitement. I’m so grateful to have the support of our alumni. I can’t wait to see you at our events this semester!

Did you know you have 24/7 access to an updated Theta Alpha church directory? Here, any sister logged into their account can visit and contribute. The hope is for those who are comfortable with sharing, to share their home church so sisters are able to learn which churches they may want to visit and who they are able to connect with.
If you already have a home church, add it in! If you're looking for one, peruse and get plugged in!
CALL TO PRAYER:
Summit, the Nationals sponsored conference for local and national officers, is to be held on August 11-13. Please be praying for our National officers who will be leading sessions to best equip our local officers both spiritually and tactically for the semesters ahead, and please keep our local officers in your prayers as they receive information and bond as an officer core under Christ.
Our Beta Chapter presently has vacant positions for Internal Vice President and External Vice President. Please be praying for our Beta Officer Core as they work together to divide those responsibilities and best fulfill the additional duties while navigating their journey as students. Pray for the hearts of our actives sisters and that the Lord may stir in their hearts and lead them to join their sisters in serving their sisterhood and leading Theta Alpha in the plans the Lord has for them on the University of Florida campus.
Recruitment season is in full swing, and our active sisters are working hard to reach the ladies in need of Godly community on their campuses. Please be praying that our sisterhood reach every woman on each campus who needs the type of community we've gotten to experience in Theta Alpha.
