Spring rush is in full swing! Please join us in prayer as our chapters have begun to welcome new sisters into our ministry!

Our Zeta chapter held bid day yesterday, our Delta chapter begins rush tomorrow, and our Beta chapter begins rush on February 2nd.

"I rushed Theta Alpha because I wanted to be part of a group of women at UNC Chapel Hill that put Christ above all else. I’ve found ministries and social groups on campus, but there is nothing like the sisterhood, love, and faith that Theta Alpha has provided me. I couldn’t be more grateful that God placed this opportunity in front of me!"

Camryn's just one great example of how all of our sisters strive to share the light of Jesus in everything they do! We're so proud of her and of all of our sisters' accomplishments.

Life and college can get difficult at times and having sisters in Christ that will point you back to the unconditional love and sacrifice of Jesus has helped me power through and give every hardship to the Lord. This sisterhood allows me to grow in my walk with the Lord as I am able to surround myself with young women who exemplify Christ in their actions and push me everyday to do the same!”

Elected sisters will begin their positions on September 1st. All elected officers will be invited to participate in our virtual Strategic Leadership Conference weekend on June 7-8 and our in-person Summit Weekend with the local officers July 25-27 for leadership training and discipleship.

This past month, between our three chapters, over 50 young women were initiated into Theta Alpha! The Lord has been so faithful in continuing to grow this ministry. The National Board is seeking twenty-two active and alumnae sisters who may be interested in serving as a mentor to our sisters at our newly established chapter at UNC. We hope for sisters who might be able to pour in and disciple these sisters throughout the remainder of the spring semester so that it might inspire and share the future discipleship relationships they encounter as Theta Alpha sisters.

To be a new sister mentor, you should have the bandwidth to spend time in fellowship and the Word with their assigned new chapter sisters at least once a week during the Spring semester (around 30 minutes over phone call, FaceTime, Zoom, etc. each week), and check in twice a month throughout the summer. If you have been prayerfully considering how to support this new chapter and would like to pour into these women on an individual basis, this is the perfect position for you. God has been so faithful in the establishment of this new chapter. We are beyond thankful for all of the love, prayer, and support we’ve received from active and alumni sisters. This wouldn’t have been possible without you!

We have no doubts that God will continue to use this ministry and these women in the most incredible ways, brining glory to Him in all they do.
