As we move further into this season of thankfulness, we hear from Betsy B. on why she is thankful for Theta Alpha:

"I rushed Theta Alpha because I wanted to be part of a group of women at UNC Chapel Hill that put Christ above all else. I’ve found ministries and social groups on campus, but there is nothing like the sisterhood, love, and faith that Theta Alpha has provided me. I couldn’t be more grateful that God placed this opportunity in front of me!"

Calling all alumnae - election season is upon us!

The National Board oversees the local chapters and alumnae body of Theta Alpha and the ministry’s goals.
Each year, the National Board holds elections to fill open positions. Officers are elected on rotation every three years, while the National Alumnae Chairwoman and Chapter Representative are elected every year (rotated between chapters).

The first stage of the election process is nominations.
At this time, alumnae from any chapter may nominate fellow alumnae to run for the following positions:
- National President, three year term
- National Treasurer, three year term
- National Alumnae Chairwoman (Beta alumnae only), one year term

Calling all alumnae - election season is upon us!

The National Board oversees the local chapters and alumnae body of Theta Alpha and the ministry’s goals.
Each year, the National Board holds elections to fill open positions. Officers are elected on rotation every three years, while the National Alumnae Chairwoman and Chapter Representative are elected every year (rotated between chapters).

The first stage of the election process is nominations.
At this time, alumnae from any chapter may nominate fellow alumnae to run for the following positions:
- National President, three year term
- National Treasurer, three year term
- National Alumnae Chairwoman (Beta alumnae only), one year term
- Chapter Representative (Delta alumnae only), one year term

This past month, between our three chapters, over 50 young women were initiated into Theta Alpha! The Lord has been so faithful in continuing to grow this ministry. The National Board is seeking twenty-two active and alumnae sisters who may be interested in serving as a mentor to our sisters at our newly established chapter at UNC. We hope for sisters who might be able to pour in and disciple these sisters throughout the remainder of the spring semester so that it might inspire and share the future discipleship relationships they encounter as Theta Alpha sisters.

To be a new sister mentor, you should have the bandwidth to spend time in fellowship and the Word with their assigned new chapter sisters at least once a week during the Spring semester (around 30 minutes over phone call, FaceTime, Zoom, etc. each week), and check in twice a month throughout the summer. If you have been prayerfully considering how to support this new chapter and would like to pour into these women on an individual basis, this is the perfect position for you. We couldn’t be happier to announce that we have officially inducted 22 founding members from the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill. God has been so faithful in the establishment of this new chapter. We are beyond thankful for all of the love, prayer, and support we’ve received from active and alumni sisters. This wouldn’t have been possible without you!

We have no doubts that God will continue to use this ministry and these women in the most incredible ways, brining glory to Him in all they do. DELTA SEMESTER RECAP!!🩷✨🌷

“The Delta chapter of Theta Alpha had an amazing fall semester!! We were so excited to have welcomed home 27 new rubies on bid day! We have loved seeing God move in the lives of these new girls and are so blessed he brought them to us! We had some super fun moments this semester including our pumpkin patch sisterhood where we took the cutest fall pictures, and our roaring 20s themed semi formal! We even joined intramural soccer! We had so much fun getting to know our sisters more!! We also some amazing service moments, including our semester serve day with OCC, and an outreach event at Thrive Pregnancy center. Our sisters LOVE hanging out with the kids at OCC. We are so thankful for the opportunity to serve Orlando’s Children’s Church!

We also had some amazing spiritual moments together this semester. We are all so thankful for the chance to be in a sorority centered on Christ!! We had so many new big little pairings, and have had amazing discipleship relationships form! Our semester retreat was in Kissimmee, Fl, where our chaplain Kaci brought in one of her mentors, Mrs T, to talk about Identity. Mrs. T shared her testimony with us, and reminded us that no matter what, our identity can only be found in Christ. Finally, we celebrated our two graduating seniors at last chapter. We are so thankful for this fall semester and everything God did within our sorority!!“ - Delta EVP, Madison Y.
